ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS SEE ON A FREQUENT BASIS THAT DON'T PHASE THEM IN THE LEAST
1. snot 2. lice 3. the day's lunch on a child's shirt 4. soiled pants 5. ugly theme sweaters worn by older female teachers (especially the Christmas ones) 6. scrapes, cuts and abrasions 7. milk mustaches (or juice, or kool-aid) 8. eye boogers 9. bed head (Hey, look! It's Alfalfa!) 10. chewed up pencils (Oh lawd just wondering??? Do the Chinese make these too?)
Funny how when I first started teaching ALL these things would have thrown me for a loop...nowadays, its just a matter of having enough tissues and antibacterial soap handy for one and all.
