 The greatest glory God has ever displayed is the glory of His grace. He came to earth and willingly became the Lamb of God, that was slain for the sins of humanity.
The glory we can see in the heavens and on earth,all comes forth from God’s HAND. He created it. The glory we see at the cross comes forth from God’s HEART. It's an amazing expression of love. The love of a true Father who gave all He hadto save billions of lost sons and daughters.
This is the glory of the cross. The crown of God’s love.
Jesus took it, He accepted it, because He had his eyes fixed – on us, on me, on you! He was looking beyond the suffering He had to endure. He was seeing something: you running from death, pain, hopelessness, despair and sin – into the loving, forgiving, cleansing arms of the Father. He knew: My death, My blood, this crown of thorns, will accomplish that. |
