Today we helped daddy settle in to his efficiency. He's been sharing a room with my nephew since he left his wife. My sister's tenant left on Friday, so we all went over to help him get organized. The room is perfect for him. We took him to the supermarket to buy food & stuff, then he wanted to go to the dollar store to get a couple of things.
After all is said in done, the old man wanted pizza...so I ordered Papa John's; went and got beer/soda and we had an impromptu get together.
I tell you folks, there's nothing in this world like the love of family...especially the love of a parent. What a great day!
