| misdiagnosis... |
I've been fighting this so called 'bronchitis' for months now...needless to say, I've been very frustrated with the lack of results from the meds and treatment I'd been given. Sadly, my PCP 'misdiagnosed' my illness because my visit to the Allergy and Asthma Care Center has revealed a new found discovery. I am suffering from chronic asthma.
This center is amazing. I was taken to the back and given a spirometry test. This test determined the limits, the expansion and capacity of my lungs...sadly the results weren't all that great. Because of this, my allergy tests have been postponed until next Monday. The Dr. has given me a weeks long dose of Advair, Nasacort, and Prednisone. She wants to treat the asthma first, then determine the other allergens that may be causing my problems. I'm happy. I'm satisfied. I can't wait to start feeling better.
Anywho, it was back to school today...EVERYONE and I mean everyone was dragging. Teachers and students seemed zombie-like walking the halls today!!! These two weeks off were great, but getting back into sync is going to take me a couple of days. Whew, Mahvelous Monday is now over...I guess that makes tomorrow...Terrific Tuesday!
