Right after church today, we headed out to Dad's for a get together. Nuria was there with Angel and then the guys came over...Angelito, David and Jason hung out with us for a bit. Mayra brought over her boyfriend, Mike, to meet the family. He's actually a pretty nice guy...he seemed a lil overwhelmed with the family, we aren't exactly the quietest ya know. LOL LOL
The only one missing today was Andre, he wanted to be with his father...Antonio did not--he wanted to spend time with his Abuelo. I didn't force the issue. Antonio is old enough to realize what goes on around him--I am never sugarcoating my relationship with their father ever again. They remember things and ask...I now share, whereas, before I wouldn't fathom the thought---but they're getting older. I don't think Andre will ever come to an understanding, or a conclusion, call it what you want---he ADORES his father and I won't take that away from him.
Sigh...
